MojoLauncher features

Everything MojoLauncher (MJLauncher) offers for playing Minecraft: Java Edition on Android.

Play almost any Minecraft version

MojoLauncher launches almost every Java Edition version, from the oldest rd-132211 pre-classic builds through release versions to 26.x snapshots and Combat Test versions. Iris added support for 26.2 and newer. Details on the supported versions page.

Forge, Fabric and mod support

Install modloaders using their regular .jar installers: Forge and Fabric are supported, and mods such as OptiFine work. Updates have also added Legacy Fabric installation. Follow the Forge & Fabric guide.

Modpack import

Import local Modrinth (.mrpack) and CurseForge (.zip) modpacks straight into the launcher, introduced in the Iris release.

Graphics renderers and drivers

Iris also moved to Mesa 26.2 with a real EGL implementation and replaced the old LWJGL backends with a real GLFW backend and upstream LWJGL, installed per game version.

Open source and community

MojoLauncher is licensed under LGPL-3.0 and developed in the open. Translations are community-driven, and contributions, including wiki help, are welcome on GitHub.

Roadmap

According to the project's README, these are already done: an instance system in place of profiles, out-of-the-box 1.21.5 support, Modrinth and CurseForge modpack import, and LTW compute shader and image extensions. Still planned: fixing LTW issues with Create, a color-renderable framebuffer format for LTW, a modpack and mod management tool, MultiMC-compatible instance import, Vintage Story support and a common native library standard. Roadmap items may change; check the repository for current status.
